I was getting some emails from a service from quirky and asked them to delete my account After a few back and forth mails, Bryson put some stuff together. Interesting, maybe better if they include some crowdsourcing function We make it so anybody who has an idea for a new product can become an entrepreneur. Everybody, whether they're a stay-at-home parent, a truck driver, or an engineer, has ideas for how to make life easier. But most people don't ever have an opportunity to turn those ideas into reality. Inventing a new product is typically very expense and consumes a ton of time and resources. Quirky makes it easy (and cheap) to get those ideas out of your head and actually make them happen. Basically, people submit their ideas to our website. These ideas range from accessories for your smart phone to products that make life easier for people with arthritis. Once an idea is on our website, it is evaluated by the thousands of people around the world who use our program (currently 125,000 users). Every week, we select a few ideas that we want to move into production. We get in contact with the person who had the idea, design the product, do some engineering, and can have it on store shelves within a matter of months. The best part is that Quirky foots the bill and pays for everything! We then share the revenue from that product with the inventor as well as everyone else that provided any sort of feedback throughout the process. Whether you submit an idea, or just vote on the ideas of others, there is a lot of potential to earn some cash and create something new. We'd love to have you along for the ride.
